I’m a Communication & Graphic Designer exploring design as a cultural and political practice. My work draws on experiences across diverse fields, including photojournalism, classical studies, art and sociology. I focus on translating complexity into clear visual communication where meaning comes before form.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Communication Design from Politecnico di Milano. In 2024, I spent an Erasmus semester at Media University, in Berlin, where I further refined my practice.
Beyond Reality
2022 Editorial

Beyond Reality is an in-depth study dedicated to Duane Michals, one of the most renowned photographers of the 20th century. His entire photographic journey explores the irrational side of human nature: dreams, desires, fears, and obsessions. Michals' work does not aim to demonstrate or document reality but rather to investigate, question, and provoke reflection.

The project was developed using a bichromatic black-and-white palette, reflecting the essence of Michals' photography. This contrast is not only visible in the color scheme but also in the interplay between solids and voids, designed to highlight the photographer's shots by giving them generous space within the layout.

In the printed version, the use of an acetate sheet on the cover and tracing paper inserts inside creates a dynamic interplay of blurring and transparency. These design choices conceptually mirror the photographic techniques employed by Michals, enhancing the thematic depth and experiential quality of the project.
